Clean India Mission is a national level 👌 campaign launched by the Government
Of India. This event was flagged off by president pranab Mukherjee. It covers 0441
Statutory towns to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country.
This campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi.

Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself wielded the broom and
Clean a road. Modi addressed the citizens of India and asked everyone
To join this campaign. Later on this day modi himself swept a parking
Area at Mandir Marg police station followed by a pavement in Valmiki
Basti, a Colony of sanitation Workers, at Mandir Marg, near Connaught
Place, New Delhi.

The Campaign is India's biggest ever cleanliness drive and 3 million
Government Employees and schools and college student of India
Participate in the event. This mission was started by Narendra Modi,
The Prime Minister of India, Nominating nine famous personalities
For this campaign, and they take up the challenge and naminate
Nine more people and so on (like the branching of a 🌲 tree).

It Has been carried forward since then with Famous people from
All walks of life joining it.
This compaign aims to Accomplish the vision of 'Clean India' by
2 October 2019, 150th Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi and is expected
To Cost over INR62000 Crore (US$10 billion).

The Compaign has been described as "beyond Politics" and "inspired
By Patriotism".
NIT Rourkela pH.D.student have made a Short film on Swachh Bharat
And they Convevyed the massage that Swachh Bharat is on a One Day
Event. It Should be a Part of our lives, Then Only We Can achieve
Our Goal Swachh Bharat (Clean India).
